July 2015 Newsletter

From the editor’s desk…  With all the new exciting advances in storage technology, we thought it appropriate to focus on battery storage this edition of the Newsletter. Check out articles on battery storage and what this means for you, as well as a DIY off the grid small wind turbine ...

...and an update on the progress of the community energy project in southern Gippsland.

The Co-op farewelled a founding member recently. Gil Freeman was an invaluable board member who contributed greatly to the success of the Co-op. We thank him for his efforts and wish him all the best with his future endeavours focussing on Grow Lightly (see ad at the end of this edition). Dates for the diary are on this page. Activities include information sessions and field days with similar themes to this newsletter.

And finally… Do you have a query other expert members might help you with? Perhaps a gripe (about sustainability!)? Is there a topic or activity you’d like the Co-op to explore or organise? Do you have some gems of wisdom to share?

Write to us!  We’re starting a ‘Letters’ page next edition Energy Innovation
